The Corrado, which debuted as the successor to the Scirocco, saw Volkswagen raising the bar even higher in 1988. Their aim was to create a more exclusive, sportier, and more stylish car than its predecessor. This ambition was reflected in its price, meaning it didn’t sell as many units as the Scirocco. However, this exclusivity has only increased its appeal in the classic car world. At the top of the range was the G60 model, which effortlessly produced 160 horsepower from its 1.8-liter G-laden engine. With substantial tuning potential, it can achieve up to 300 horsepower with significant modifications.
