The Corvette C4 was intended by General Motors to compete with the Porsche 944, Mazda RX-7 and Nissan 300ZX, as these three sportcars pushed the previous-generation Corvette off the throne.
The recipe was keeping the well-proven American ingredient, the raw, hollow V8.
The Corvette offered by Veterán Autó Kft. is a rarity, even among Corvettes. It comes with a six-speed manual transmission and an original Polo green metallic paintjob.
In 2007, it underwent a partial engine overhaul. The engine is healthy, torqueful, oil-free. In 2013, it got completely new seats and floor mats, and accordingly the interior is in an outstanding condition compared to its age. New Bilstein shocks and tires help control the raw U.S. resource, and the true V8 sound experience is provided by a stainless steel Magnaflow Catback exhaust system.
According to Autobild Klassic, the value of specimens in a similar condition is close to 17,000 euros
